  • Who can attend?

This event is open to people of all genders and identities interested in Information Security and Diversity in the Tech landscape. Although we tend to focus on women, we want to make sure we are welcoming to everyone, especially our supporters and allies.

  • Do I need to stay at the Westin to attend the Diana Initiative?

No, you are free to stay wherever you like during #HackerSummerCamp. However, reserving a room in our block places you close to our event, saves you money compared to the full price room rate for this hotel, and gets you 2 free tickets to our event.

  • Why do tickets cost $30 this year?

Not only are we a conference packed full of quality and varied speakers, but we also have multiple villages, such as lockpicking, soldering your own badge, and career advice, as well as hands-on workshops and a Capture The Flag competition. The networking and mentoring possibilities are great, and the support network is strong.

  • I booked my room in the hotel block - how do I get my 2 free tickets?

Use your hotel confirmation number as the promo code on Eventbrite to purchase up to 2 basic conference tickets (free) or receive a $30 discount toward RAWR participant tickets (up to 2) if still available.
New reservations are processed each Tuesday, so if your code isn’t working and you have booked recently try waiting until the next Tuesday.

  • As a speaker, when do I get my ticket?

After all of our speakers have been confirmed, you will be emailed a code for Speaker Ticket registration through EventBrite. As a speaker, you will also get a +1 ticket, and we’ll have some amazing speaker gifts waiting for you at the event, including a RAWR Coin.

  • Can I purchase a ticket at the door?

No, this year we will not be offering ticket sales at the event. You must purchase your ticket in advance, online, before August 7, 2019.

  • What does my ticket cover / grant access to?

Your ticket covers attendance at any or all of our 50+ presentations and panels, a custom electronic badge from the Learn to Solder village, access to our parties, hands-on training in the Lockpicking Village, and more.

  • What does my ticket NOT cover?

Anything that requires outside pre-registration or an extra cost, such as the Lock Repinning Workshop from Lockpick Extreme. Tickets do not include lodging, meals, or access to any other conference happening at the same time in Las Vegas.

  • How do I give my ticket away?

Transfering your ticket to someone else is easy.

Log into your Eventbrite account. From the Account menu in the top right select Tickets > Diana Initiative and choose the “Edit” item. Update the contact information including the new email address making sure “Send confirmation email to new attendee” is ticked. An email will be sent to them containing instructions to claim the tickets.

  • What is the ticket cancellation policy?

Registration not refundable. If you are unable to attend, you can transfer it to someone else in Eventbrite through August 7th. We are not responsible for problems beyond our control such as weather conditions, travel difficulties, visa problems, health issues, etc. If you purchase a ticket but do not show up for the event, your payment will be considered a donation to our organization.

  • Are donations to the Diana Initiative tax-deductible?

Yes we are a US-based not-for-profit! If you choose to receive a gift for your donation, you may only deduct the amount of your donation less the market value of your gift. Your email receipt should have this information included.

  • How can my organization become a conference sponsor?

Some sponsorship tiers are limited, so [complete the form] as soon as possible. A member of our team will be in touch with further instructions.
